Mission Statement
Children and youth with developmental, behavioral, and mental health challenges are best treated in the least restrictive environment necessary for maintaining the child safely.  This can be achieved through modifying environments, promoting skills, and strengthening the family and natural environment’s capacity to care for the child. Our aim is to offer a range of effective services delivered by well trained and trauma informed staff in collaboration with parents, members of their natural environments, and other involved professionals.

Philosophy and Values
At Improving Outcomes it is essential that we work in collaboration with our clients on goals and objectives that result in enhanced confidence, dignity, self-sufficiency, and the emotional well-being of all family members.

We believe that crisis provides opportunities to support and guide families to more effective coping and adaptive patterns and skills.

We aim for all of our interventions to be collaborative, family-focused, strength-based, trauma and attachment informed.  We place a large emphasis on being culturally competent and responsive to the unique qualities and needs of individuals and families in order to promote the capacity to problem solve in the future.

While challenges may be present throughout life, Improving Outcomes believes that with sufficient support, individuals with serious social, emotional, and behavioral disorders can acquire life management skills and attitudes that permit fuller and more meaningful life in their families and communities.
